According to a report by The Independent, Marjorie Taylor Greene crossed the line during Bidens State of the Union speech.

During the SOTU, Biden touched on several topics. One story he shared was that of Courtney Griffin, who died in 2014 due to an overdose of Fentanyl. She was 20 years old.

In the gallery during the speech sat Doug Griffin and his wife, Pam, who were invited to Washington as a guest of Jill Biden. The President began his introduction with, Joining us tonight is a father named Doug from Newton, New Hampshire. He wrote Jill, my wife, a letter and me also about his courageous daughter Courtney.

He shared a story all too familiar to millions of Americans and many of you in the audience. Courtney discovered pills in high school. It spiraled into addiction and, eventually, her death from a Fentanyl overdose. She was just 20 years old.

Biden continued, Yet their family has turned pain into purpose, working to end stigma and change laws. He told us he wants to start a journey towards Americas recovery. Doug, were with you. Fentanyl is killing more than 70,000 Americans a year.

Ms. Greene took the opportunity of the moment to yell out: Its coming from China! Another person yelled: Its your fault!

According to The Independents report, this was not the only outburst by the congresswoman from Georgia.

With the camera panning around to get a look at Mr. Griffin during Ms. Greenes heckling, the camera showed Mr. Griffin did not react. He sat quietly while the outbursts flowed.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy took matters into hand and was seen attempting to quiet members of the party.

When asked by The Independent, Griffin said the interruption took me away, and At that moment, he was trying to tell her story and get a response to the story, and Ms. Green broke the momentum of that moment.

Griffin also said that he found Greenes remarks really nasty. I was startled as that was the only time during the entire speech that he was heckled in that way. It was really nasty in what was a time of reverence. I think she crossed the line.

Mr. Griffin, who is a member of the Republican party, said the outburst highlighted the constant battle to get Republicans and Democrats to work together to tackle the opioid crisis.
