A shocking incident unfolded at the Hammock Beach resort in Palm Coast, Florida, when a woman was arrested for allegedly leaving her 11-year-old son alone in a hotel room with a deceased man.

Amy Kemper, 32, confessed to authorities that she had engaged in drug use and a mnage trois with two men before deciding to leave her son with the 60-year-old man while she spent the night with the other individual. The Flagler County Sheriff's Office revealed these details in a recent statement.

According to Kemper's account, she became concerned when she noticed the man snoring strangely. Upon their return to the room, they discovered him unresponsive. Medical personnel attempted CPR but unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead. Deputies who arrived at the scene reportedly found narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside the room.

Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly expressed his dismay over the incident, stating, "A woman thought it was okay to bring her child to a resort in the middle of the night, so she could engage in narcotic use and sexual activities. Unfortunately, her son was stuck alone in the room with the deceased male for several hours until she came back."

Amy Kemper has been arrested and charged with child neglect without great bodily harm. She is currently being held at the Flagler County Jail on a $15,000 bond. Meanwhile, her son has been placed under the care of the Florida Department of Children and Families.
