Actor Kevin Sorbo has teamed up with Brave Books to create a children's book aimed at teaching young readers about biblical masculinity.

In a post on X, Sorbo expressed his belief that masculinity is currently under attack and emphasized the importance of educating children about what biblical masculinity truly entails. The book, titled "The Test of Lionhood," aims to instill in young boys the understanding that bravery and manliness are not negative qualities.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Sorbo stated, "Everybody has a place in this world, regardless of their biological sex. Boys should be allowed to learn that being brave and manly is not a bad thing. They have the ability to protect others and should not be afraid to confront dangerous situations."

Sorbo's sentiments were echoed in an article by the Daily Wire, where he emphasized the need for boys to grow into strong men who can lead their families and communities in a positive direction.

The book follows the story of a character named Lucas, whose sister becomes ill after being poisoned by night-scorch thorns. Lucas must step up and save the day, facing numerous obstacles along the way. However, when a legendary lion appears, Lucas's world is forever changed. Through lessons on bravery and perseverance, readers join Lucas on his journey to discover what it truly means to be a real lion.
