In a tragic turn of events, an elderly man named Craig Robertson was shot and killed during an FBI raid at his residence in Provo, Utah.

The incident occurred early Wednesday morning at approximately 6:15 a.m.

The raid was conducted in response to threatening posts Robertson had made on his Facebook page, specifically targeting President Joe Biden. Prior to Biden's visit to Utah, Robertson had made alarming statements, indicating that he needed to prepare with a rifle and camouflage. NBC News reports that President Biden was briefed on these threats.

The FBI released a statement regarding the incident, stating, "The incident began when special agents attempted to serve arrest and search warrants at a residence. The subject is deceased. The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents or task force members seriously." The statement also mentioned that the shooting incident is currently under review by the FBI's Inspection Division, in accordance with their policy.

According to sources, Robertson had a history of making similar statements on his Facebook page, often referencing the death of various Democratic officials. In one post from July, he directly addressed the FBI, asking if they were still monitoring his social media and ensuring that he had a loaded gun at hand.

These posts consistently exhibited extreme language and attitude, raising concerns about Robertson's intentions and mental state.
