A 74-year-old woman from Wisconsin is facing a potential sentence of over 600 years in prison after being found guilty on 25 charges related to the sexual abuse of a 14-year-old boy.

Anne N. Nelson-Koch, a former private school teacher, was convicted on all counts after a three-day trial, with the jury returning a guilty verdict after just a few hours of deliberation.

According to Fox News, Nelson-Koch, who taught at a private school in Tomah, is alleged to have assaulted the teenage boy multiple times in the school's basement during the 2016-2017 school year. At the time of the incidents, Nelson-Koch was 67 years old, while the victim was just 14.

Assistant District Attorney Sarah Skiles, the prosecutor in the case, commended the bravery of the young man who came forward as the victim. Skiles stated, "He spoke the truth, and the jury heard him loud and clear. We are so grateful to the jury for their dedication to finding the truth."

Skiles also expressed gratitude to Investigator Paul Sloan of the Tomah Police Department, who led the investigation. She emphasized that the outcome would not have been possible without the victim's strength and Sloan's dedication to conducting a thorough investigation.

Following the guilty verdict, prosecutors requested that Nelson-Koch be held in jail until her sentencing. However, Monroe County Circuit Court Judge Richard Radcliffe granted her bail, with the condition that she wear a GPS monitoring device.

Nelson-Koch is scheduled to be sentenced on October 27th, where she faces the possibility of a sentence exceeding 600 years in prison, as stated by Monroe County District Attorney Kevin Croninger.
