Police in Green Bay, Wisconsin, made a horrifying discovery when they found a bucket containing the severed head and penis of murder victim Shad Thyrion in his mother's basement.

The shocking moment was captured on police bodycam footage, which was shown to jurors during the trial of Taylor Schabusiness, the 25-year-old accused of strangling Thyrion to death during a meth-fueled BDSM sex session.

The footage, played in court, depicted police searching the basement of Thyrion's family home, where they uncovered his dismembered body parts. According to a criminal complaint, Schabusiness allegedly choked Thyrion to death with a chain on February 23, 2022, and continued even after he turned purple. Disturbingly, she then engaged in sexual acts with his corpse, including performing oral sex and using a sex toy.

Afterwards, Schabusiness allegedly proceeded to dismember Thyrion's body, using a bread knife to sever his head, which she placed in a bucket along with his penis. The bucket was later discovered by Thyrion's mother in her basement. Police also found at least one leg in a van that Schabusiness had borrowed from a roommate.

During questioning, Schabusiness reportedly admitted to the murder, expressing a disturbing fondness for choking Thyrion. She allegedly told detectives that she had become "lazy" and forgot to remove the bucket containing his head. In a chilling statement, she even asked the detectives if they understood what it was like to love something so much that you kill it.

In a separate incident during a pretrial session in February 2023, Schabusiness attacked her attorney for unknown reasons, and the assault was caught on camera.

Schabusiness has pleaded not guilty and not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.

The bodycam footage captured the shocked reactions of the police officers as they made the gruesome discovery. One officer can be heard exclaiming, "Oh my f**king God," while another says, "Jesus," reflecting their distress at the scene. Officer Alex Wanish testified in court, describing the moment he lifted a towel off a green bucket at the bottom of the stairs and found the severed head inside. He also mentioned finding chunks of flesh near a bloody mattress.

Further investigation revealed additional body parts in the basement, including Thyrion's torso, which had its organs removed and his foot forcibly inserted.

The details of this case are deeply disturbing, and the trial will continue as the jury weighs the evidence against Taylor Schabusiness.
