Hollywood Legend's Defense Shows Just How Sick And Twisted He Really Is While More Questions Are Being Raised

Kevin Spacey appeared in court on Thursday for his UK sex-assault trial, where he claimed to be a "big flirt" and accused his former lovers of betraying him.

The 63-year-old Academy Award winner nostalgically described his relationship with the first of his four accusers as "romantic" and "somewhat sexual."

He spoke fondly of their time together, stating, "I liked him greatly. We had a good time together. We laughed a lot."

Spacey expressed his disbelief that the man he once knew would accuse him of assault years later, saying he felt "crushed" by the betrayal.

During his testimony, Spacey admitted to being a flirt, but denied the allegations of aggressive groping. He claimed that any physical contact between them was consensual and characterized it as gentle and romantic.

He emphasized that they never had sex because the accuser made it clear that he did not want to take things further, and Spacey respected his boundaries.

Spacey also questioned the credibility of the other allegations against him, suggesting that they were made by men who regretted their intimate encounters with him.

He argued that these accusations made "no logical sense" and accused the accusers of reimagining consensual encounters with a sinister spin or fabricating their accounts.

The actor is facing 12 charges, including sexual and indecent assault counts, as well as one count of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.

The four accusers have accused Spacey of aggressive groping and, in one case, performing oral sex while they were unconscious. The alleged incidents occurred between 2001 and 2013.

Prosecutor Christine Agnew has described Spacey as a "sexual bully" who takes pleasure in making others feel powerless and uncomfortable.

One of the accusers testified that Spacey's unwanted fondling felt like a cobra attacking. However, Spacey's attorney, Patrick Gibbs, argued that the accusers had distorted consensual encounters or fabricated their stories.

If convicted, Spacey could face jail time, but he remains hopeful for a career comeback if acquitted.

In an interview with Germany's Zeit magazine, he revealed that there are people ready to hire him once he is cleared of the charges in London.
