Jimmy Kimmel's Epic Fail: Late-Night Clown Gets PUBLICLY HUMILIATED For Blatant Ignorance Aimed At RFK Jr.

Jimmy Kimmel faced heavy criticism on Twitter this week after dismissing a tweet from Democratic Presidential Candidate Robert F.

Kennedy Jr. regarding the negative impact of coronavirus lockdowns as "nonsense.".

In response to Kennedy Jr.'s tweet stating that Americans, on average, gained 29 pounds during the lockdowns, Kimmel sarcastically remarked, "Wow! we each gained 29 lbs? That almost sounds like nonsense! (theres a good possibility this guy is Borat)."

However, Twitter later added a "community note" to Kennedy's post, clarifying that a study had indeed shown that out of the 42% of Americans who gained weight during the pandemic, the average weight gain was 29 pounds. Kimmel faced a backlash on social media, with users accusing him of not understanding the concept of an average.

Blaze TV Host Sarah Gonzalez responded to Kimmel's post, which garnered over 12 million views on Twitter, by tweeting, "This is a cited statistic from the APA, tubby. Do you know what averages are?" Actress Collete Harrington tweeted, "Kimmel always batting zero," while attorney Jenin Younes tweeted, "You don't know what average means."

Representatives for Kimmel have not yet responded to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
