Hold Our Pink Slips: These Top Brass Are Out At Anheuser-Busch As Brand Continues To Take It On The Chin

Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, has confirmed that two of its top marketing executives, Group Vice President for Marketing Daniel Blake and Bud Light Marketing Vice President Alissa Heinerscheid, are no longer with the company.

The news was confirmed by a source within Anheuser-Busch in text messages obtained by the Daily Caller on Tuesday.

The source stated that the executives were gone gone, and that the company had refrained from using the term fire to avoid potential legal action.

The source also revealed that the decision to remove Heinerscheid was made to avoid backlash from wholesalers.

The Callers request for information on Blake and Heinerscheids status was initially ignored by Anheuser-Busch.

The company faced criticism in June after a boycott was launched against Bud Light following the release of a personalized beer can featuring the face of transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. The company also faced backlash for a rainbow-designed can that featured different pronouns.

Heinerscheid, who allegedly resides in an $8 million apartment near Central Park, appeared on a podcast in March to discuss Bud Lights new marketing strategy. She criticized the companys fratty image and out-of-touch humor, calling for an update.

However, leaked images obtained by the Caller in April showed Heinerscheid engaging in similar behavior during a Harvard social club event.

The photos were taken from an album on Heinerscheids Facebook page, which was named Isis Senior Reverse Initiation Scavenger Hunt and included images of Heinerscheid and others drinking and holding condoms up to their mouths.

Following the release of the photos, reports circulated that Heinerscheid had taken a leave of absence from the company. Blake also took a leave of absence shortly after.

An Anheuser-Busch spokeswoman confirmed the leaves of absence, stating that given the circumstances, Alissa has decided to take a leave of absence, which we support. Daniel has also decided to take a leave of absence.

Anheuser-Busch did not respond to the Callers request for comment on Blake and Heinerscheids departure from the company.
