A recent poll has revealed that Vice President Kamala Harris has the worst net approval rating in NBC News polling history.

The poll showed a 17% difference between those who approve and those who disapprove of her job performance, with 49% of respondents expressing disapproval and only 32% approving.

This is in stark contrast to previous vice presidents, such as Dick Cheney, Al Gore, and Joe Biden, who had much higher net positive ratings. Even Mike Pence, who had a negative net rating, had a significantly lower negative rating than Harris.

Harris' first term as vice president has been plagued by accusations of incompetence and unpreparedness, with high staff turnover and embarrassing repetitions of simple phrases in her speeches.

Despite this, some on the left have defended her, claiming that her critics are motivated by racism and sexism. However, a separate poll in August found that only 43% of Americans believed Harris was qualified to take on the duties of the presidency, should the occasion arise.

The White House has attempted to rehabilitate Harris' image and tout her accomplishments, with White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients stating that Americans were expressing "enthusiasm and energy" about her work in the office

. However, the poll results suggest that this campaign has not been successful in improving her approval rating among the American public.

The poll results paint a bleak picture for Vice President Kamala Harris, with the worst net approval rating in NBC News polling history. Despite efforts by the White House to improve her image, her job performance has been met with disapproval from a majority of Americans.
