Left-wing streamer Hasan Piker told conservative commentators they were headed to "jail" as Democrats swept the midterm elections, according to Fox News.
Piker wrote on X, "WE'RE GONNA PUT YOUR ASS IN JAIL EVERYONE GET MORE WOKE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He was replying to conservative commentator Matt Van Swol, who had lamented a "blue tsunami" on election night.
Van Swol shot back, "Message received." Piker later targeted Laura Loomer, a Trump ally, writing, "YOURE GOING TO JAIL JIGSAW (for being criminally ugly)."
Piker, who has no power to jail anyone, also posted "we are putting asmongold in prison," aimed at fellow streamer Zack Hoyt. That post drew about 2.5 million views by Wednesday morning, Fandom Pulse reported.
Piker livestreamed on Twitch for more than 13 hours on election night, at times drawing more than 200,000 viewers, Fox News reported. "Just imagine a world where Donald Trump is in f---ing prison," he told his audience at one point.
On the stream, he also repeated his claim that "Hamas is a thousand times better than Israel." He declared that Democrats were skipping "Woke 2.0" and going straight to "Woke 3.0."
Republicans spent months tying Piker to Democrats, especially Michigan Sen.-elect Abdul El-Sayed. Piker campaigned with El-Sayed in his primary win over Rep. Haley Stevens, and El-Sayed brushed off questions by saying his campaign was not about a "streamer from California."
Piker also appeared in Minneapolis late in the campaign alongside Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). Federal agents had searched Omar's Washington home weeks earlier as part of an immigration fraud investigation.
Piker has drawn bipartisan condemnation before. In September, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries called his suggestion that American Jews were inviting violence against themselves "dangerous and antisemitic."
After Democrat James Talarico won Texas' Senate race, Piker mocked a past Talarico remark that "God is nonbinary." "GOD IS NONBINARY NOW MFS!!! ITS LAW!!!" he posted, later adding, "WOKE IS SO BACK."
