Protesters Brand Alex Stein Hitler Youth As Free-Speech Event Erupts At University Of Oregon

Protesters at the University of Oregon accused comedian and campus free-speech activist Alex Stein of belonging to the Hitler Youth as they shouted him down at a Turning Point USA event.

According to The Post Millennial, the 40-year-old Stein appeared at the schools Erb Memorial Union student center as part of TPUSAs Pick Up the Mic tour. The campus series honors the legacy of the organizations assassinated founder, Charlie Kirk.

Some of the protesters were dressed in Antifa-style black bloc and insisted on their own right to rebel on campus. Previous reporting by The College Fix found that 98% of the universitys faculty political donations went to Democrats.

Many of the chants invoked fascism and Nazism and accused Stein of advocating genocide. When the Nazis were killing people in Germany, they said Germany for Germans, one heckler shouted, apparently tying the slogan to President Donald Trumps America First agenda.

We are here to oppose the Nazi slogan, he added. Not every protester stuck to a message of nonviolence, however.

A man with purple hair held up a sign reading F*ck him right in the neck hole, which appeared to suggest both assassinating Stein and performing a sex act on him. The outlet noted the sign echoed past left-wing celebrations of Kirks killing during a campus appearance at Utah Valley University last year.

A man who did not appear to be of student age called Stein a Nazi f*cking whore. You dont get to talk, you f*cking Nazi, he said, adding, the Hitler Youth are not allowed here.

Another protester used a bullhorn to declare, Alex Stein is a clown. Cover your drinks if hes around.

The event was billed as an open forum modeled on Kirks campus debates, where students step up to the microphone to challenge the speaker. Instead, many participants crowded around the mic to yell and drown out any attempt at discussion.

Protesters also called the officers trying to keep order fascist. Some charged at police in an attempt to free at least one person who was being taken into custody.

Stein, for his part, praised an apparent supporter who held up a sign reading Big Booty Latinas Can Stay, a nod to his viral exchange with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the steps of the U.S. Capitol. Thats a cause that I can stand by, Stein said, as others in the crowd moved to block the sign from view.
