Crowd Falls Silent As Kamala Harris Bursts Into Maniacal Laughter At Campaign Event With Democrat Richard Pan

Kamala Harris latest campaign stop in California backfired spectacularly, raising fresh questions about transparency, media access, and basic political competence inside the Democratic operation.

According to Gateway Pundit, Harris appeared in Sacramento to boost Democrat Congressional hopeful Dr. Richard Pan, a former California state senator now running in the states 6th Congressional District against incumbent Rep. Kevin Kiley, a Republican-turned-Independent. The event at Pans campaign headquarters, which should have been a routine rally, instead turned into a public-relations mess as the campaign selectively shut out certain media outlets from covering what was billed as a public appearance.

Local outlet KCRA reported that Former Vice President Kamala Harris and Democratic Congressional candidate Richard Pan blocked some news organizations, including KCRA 3, from covering their public appearance in Sacramento on Friday. Harris team and Pans team then proceeded to point fingers at each other, each side blaming the other for the decision to bar some journalists from the event, underscoring the disarray behind the scenes.

While several other outlets, including two local TV stations, The Sacramento Bee and Los Angeles Times, covered Harris stop at Pans campaign headquarters, KCRA 3 was not invited and not approved to cover the event, Pans campaign confirmed. A spokesman for Pans campaign further told KCRA 3 that the exclusion of both KCRA 3 and The New York Times was at the direction of Kamala Harris team, a move that runs directly counter to Democrats frequent rhetoric about defending a free press.

Pan, for his part, denied banning KCRA and other outlets from the event, even as his own spokesman pointed to Harris operation as the driving force behind the blackout. The awkward attempt at message control only drew more attention to what happened inside the room, where Harris delivered another of her now-familiar, uncomfortable performances.

Video from the event shows Harris cackling as she tried to land a joke, prompting observers to say she sounded drunk while the audience sat stone-faced. Please remember to shower! Harris told the room full of campaign staffers at Pans headquarters, laughing, yet the staffers sat there quietly and did not laugh, a visual that perfectly captured the disconnect between Democratic leadership and the voters and workers they claim to represent.
