President Trumps former attorney Alina Habba has disclosed that disgraced Biden-era Special Counsel Jack Smith dispatched FBI agents to her New Jersey residence and compelled her testimony as part of his sweeping effort to ensnare President Trump and his legal team.
During an appearance on The Benny Show, Habba recounted the episode while discussing House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordans criminal referral of Smith to the Justice Department, a move that underscores growing concern over prosecutorial abuse. According to Gateway Pundit, her revelation adds yet another layer to mounting evidence that Smiths operation has long extended far beyond any legitimate, narrowly tailored inquiry.
Jack Smith sent the FBI to my house. What are you talking about? You dont even know that, Habba told host Benny Johnson, describing the shock of having federal agents appear at her door. The FBI came knocking on my door in New Jersey. I mean, people dont know that, she continued. But yeah, I was subpoenaed as a lawyer. Its crazy.
Habba said Smith sought to question her as part of what she characterized as one of the many anti-Trump hoaxes that have defined the lawfare campaign against President Trump and his allies. Johnson appeared stunned that Smiths team would go so far as to send federal agents to the private home of one of President Trumps attorneys, a step that raises serious questions about intimidation and the erosion of attorney-client protections.
Habba added that she generally refrained from discussing the incident publicly because she did not want the media spotlight or further harassment. But now Im so far gone, and weve won, she said, suggesting that Smiths tactics reflected political desperation rather than a good-faith pursuit of justice. Thats literally how desperate this person was.

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan has now referred Smith to the Justice Department over alleged false statements in his December 2025 deposition, leaving Americans to ask whether anyone in the federal bureaucracy will finally be held accountable for weaponizing law enforcement against conservatives.
