Making the rounds on morning shows, Leavitt spoke with evident gratitude about her time in the role, calling it the "honor and blessing of her life" and an "adventure of a lifetime." She emphasized that she is stepping down to be present for her two young children, ages 2 years and 4 months, describing this as a critical stage in their lives.
Leavitt will not be leaving the political arena entirely, however, as she will continue working for the President from the outside as an adviser with his MAGA Inc. super PAC. In her interviews, she highlighted Trumps record on core conservative priorities, including securing the border and preserving tax relief for working Americans, which Democrats opposed, calling it "the largest middle-class tax cut in history."
She also detailed the administrations pressure campaign on Iran through Operation Economic Outcast, stressing how much the regime has been weakened under Trumps approach. Leavitt further disclosed that the team had helped rescue some Americans caught in the disaster in Nepal, while efforts continue to locate and assist others.
Fox News aired a lighthearted supercut of Leavitt highlights, showcasing her sharp exchanges with a frequently hostile press corps. On NewsNation, she offered a deeply personal salute to her boss, describing Trump as the "best boss" she ever had and saying, "He is so funny; he has a great sense of humor."
