The American lefts steady march into lawlessness is no longer theoretical; it is on the ballot.
Wild-eyed far-left radical Peggy Flanagan secured the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate from Minnesota last Tuesday, defeating a more centrist rival and cementing the partys embrace of its most extreme elements. According to Gateway Pundit, Flanagan has already made clear she is not merely progressive but openly hostile to the nations history and cultural foundations.
Flanagan infamously celebrated the toppling of a Christopher Columbus statue by a leftist mob, not condemning the vandalism but effectively endorsing it. On Facebook, she wrote, I cant say Im sad the statue of Christopher Columbus is gone. Im not.
She went further, framing the State Capitol itself as a hostile space for those who share her identity politics worldview. All Minnesotans should feel welcome at the Minnesota State Capitol, and our state is long overdue for a hard look at the symbols, statues, and icons that were created without the input of many of our communities.
In a sweeping denunciation of Western civilizations legacy, Flanagan declared, The arrival of Christopher Columbus to what is now the Americas set in motion centuries of violence and genocide against the Indigenous people who already lived here. She added, As the highest-ranking Native woman elected to executive office in the country, I have often reflected on the fact that I could see a statue honoring that legacy from my office window. It was a constant reminder that our systems were not built by or for Native people or people of color, but in many cases, to exclude, erase, and eliminate us. Tonight, Im thinking of all the Native children who might now feel more welcome on the grounds and in the halls of their state government.
This is not the language of reform but of repudiationof a politician who appears to despise the country she seeks to help govern. Even a Native American group objected to Flanagans promotion of violence, underscoring that her rhetoric goes too far even for some within the communities she claims to represent.
Flanagan has repeated these same remarks in public speeches, doubling down rather than moderating her stance for a broader electorate. Yet in a political climate where election integrity remains a serious concern, she still has a plausible path to victory in Minnesota if fraud and lax safeguards persist.
For voters who believe in law and order, respect for American heritage, and a rejection of mob rule, the choice could not be clearer. **VOTE FOR MICHELE TAFOYA as if your country depends on it!**
