Watch: Radical NYC Mayor Drops Shocking Mandarin-Only Video To Push Free Broadway Tickets

New York Citys radical socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani has released a full-length promotional address in Mandarin Chinese, rather than in English, to advertise a new taxpayer-funded program offering free Broadway tickets to high school students.

According to Gateway Pundit, the democratic socialist described by President Trump and many others as a straight-up communist stares into the camera and launches into his pitch in Chinese, despite openly conceding his lack of fluency. He begins the video by saying, Hello, my name is Mamdani. I dont know Chinese, but I want to try, before proceeding to promote the government giveaway program in the language of the Chinese Communist Partys homeland.

In a press release, Mamdani attempted to frame the initiative as a matter of cultural equity and access. In a city overflowing with extraordinary art and culture, every young person should have the opportunity to experience those moments, regardless of whats in their bank account, he said, presenting the scheme as a leveling mechanism rather than an indulgent subsidy.

Thats why, in partnership with TDF, were offering more than 2,000 free tickets to some of Broadways most exciting shows, along with discounted tickets to many more. We want every high school student to have the opportunity to explore this city, experience incredible art and discover something that stays with them long after the curtain falls, Mamdani continued, glossing over the fact that these benefits are funded by taxpayers already burdened by New Yorks high cost of living.

This is the mayor of Americas largest city choosing to speak Chinese instead of English while using public resources to distribute free theater tickets, even as crime, housing pressures, and quality-of-life concerns mount. Mamdani, the Uganda-born, Muslim member of the Democratic Socialists of America who leveraged identity politics and rent-control populism into power, is once again signaling ideological priorities that appear far removed from the everyday struggles of working New Yorkers.

English is the language of America the language of the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and of millions of lawful immigrants who embraced assimilation rather than balkanization. Mamdanis Mandarin performance functions as political theater aimed at specific immigrant blocs, while the deeper crises produced by left-wing governance remain unresolved and, in many neighborhoods, visibly worsening.
