'Losing Public Trust': Elon Musk SLAMS Justice System After Trump Indictment

Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of Twitter, has expressed concern that the Department of Justice's indictment of former President Donald Trump could erode the trust of the American public in the justice system.

Musk tweeted Thursday night, "There seems to be far higher interest in pursuing Trump compared to other people in politics. Very important that the justice system rebut what appears to be differential enforcement or they will lose public trust."

Trump, the front-runner in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, announced his indictment on Thursday night on his social media platform, Truth Social. He accused the Justice Department of hypocrisy, stating, "The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been Indicted, seemingly over the Boxes Hoax, even though Joe Biden has 1850 Boxes at the University of Delaware, additional Boxes in Chinatown, D.C., with even more Boxes at the University of Pennsylvania, and documents strewn all over his garage floor where he parks his Corvette, and which is 'secured' by only a garage door that is paper thin, and open much of the time."

Trump is being indicted for the same potential crime that Biden was accused of earlier this year, which involved having multiple batches of confidential documents in his possession. Trump also claimed that the indictment was a "DARK DAY for the United States in America" and that the country is "in serious and rapid Decline."

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Trump called the case "election interference" and "the greatest witch hunt of all time." He plans to plead not guilty to the charges in federal court on Tuesday, stating that he is "totally innocent."

The news of Trump's indictment has caused shock waves throughout the media, with some liberal journalists speculating that he may seek a "political solution" by dropping out of the 2024 presidential race.
