Hunter Biden unleashed a profanity-laced tirade against CNN anchor Jake Tapper during a new podcast appearance with Don Lemon, accusing the network star of being a complete and utter a**hole and full of f*cking sh*t."

The younger Biden appeared on Lemons podcast this week to discuss his family, his public image, and media coverage of his scandals, according to Mediaite. Tapper, who in 2025 co-authored a book with Axios reporter Alex Thompson, quickly became a focal point of the conversation as Lemon pressed Biden on his relationship with the longtime CNN host.

Were you friends with Jake Tapper? Lemon asked. No, Biden replied, while conceding he has known Tapper for 25 years. When Lemon followed up by asking about his feelings toward Tapper, Biden abandoned any pretense of restraint and launched into a blistering personal attack.

Look, heres what Id like to say about that, is I think that, um, Jake is, um, a complete and utter, uh, a**hole, Biden said. I think that he is, um, a really poor journalist, and beyond that, I dont think hes a very decent human being. He continued, As a person, I dont like Jake. And so, I guess, what normally someone when asked a question like that, like me, is supposed to say is like, Oh, well, you know, heres how I feel about it. I think hes full of f*cking sh*t. Thats what I think.

You think Jake Tappers full of sh*t? Lemon asked, seeking clarification on the harsh critique. I think hes the Brick Tamland of his generation, yeah, Biden shot back, invoking the dim-witted character from the comedy film Anchorman to underscore his contempt.

Biden then broadened his criticism, accusing Tapper of unfairly targeting his entire family, including his late mother and his father, President Joe Biden. What Jake espoused and has continued, and the way that he has spoken about me, the way he has spoken about my mother, the way that he has spoken about my father, the idea that I would tell you and be full of sh*t like everybody else usually is, and say, Well, you know, Id like to respect Jakes long career in journalism and, you know, hes done good things before you know what? I dont have to say that. Im not running for anything, he declared.

CNN swiftly defended Tapper, whose aggressive questioning of political figures has often irritated Democrats and Republicans alike. In a statement to Mediaite, a network spokesperson said, Jake Tapper is a respected journalist and his work speaks for itself. For decades, he has challenged and scrutinized those in power, regardless of party, ideology, or title. Thats the job, and hes done it exceptionally well. These comments are frankly ridiculous and shouldnt warrant news coverage.
