NYC Braces For Absolute Chaos As Charlie Kirk Monument Artist Announces Unveiling

A New York City monument honoring the legacy of slain Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk is scheduled to be unveiled in September, underscoring both his enduring influence on young conservatives and the hostility he faced from the left.

According to The Post Millennial, the statue, crafted by Italian sculptor Sergio Furnari, portrays Kirk with a microphone in hand, echoing the campus speaking tours and tabling sessions that defined his activism. Furnari recently posted an update on Instagram, revealing that the public unveiling is planned for September 10, the one-year anniversary of Kirks assassination at Utah Valley University, a timing that has already sparked fears the monument will be targeted by vandals.

Furnari directly addressed the reaction from progressives to Kirks killing, remarking, "I mean, the fact that, you know, people were making fun of this guy, that was like kind of something that I didnt like." Commenters on his post quickly predicted attacks on the statue, with one warning, Dont bring that bullsh*t to NYC; I promise it will get vandalized, and another adding, From someone who lived in NYC, this Charlie Kirk monument wont make it overnight without being vandalized.

The 57-year-old artist launched a GiveSendGo campaign seeking $150,000 to complete the project, but it has so far brought in only $1,567, leaving him to shoulder most of the cost. Furnari has said he plans to mount the statue "really high on a truch so that everybody can see," a practical step in a city where conservative symbols are often defaced.

So far Sergio Furnari has been investing his own money, energy, efforts and dedication into this colossal monument, the fundraiser explains, lamenting, Sadly none of the politicians/entrepreneurs/supporters have contacted him. Sergio has sold his own apartment to fund this project. Donors of any kind will have their name engraved on the Monument's platform. So yes, your name will be eternally attached to Charlie Kirk. Any contribution of any size is greatly appreciated, a testament to both the artists personal sacrifice and the broader reluctance of elites to publicly back a tribute to one of the American rights most outspoken cultural warriors.
