According to the Washington Free Beacon, hes now an adviser for an ultra-luxury rehab for high achievers in California called Peak Path Health, which touted his lived experience and professional insight when it announced the partnership last month. At the same time, he is serializing a new book on Substack about the plot against me, the conspiracy that was led by figures like Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon, a narrative that conveniently casts himself as victim rather than architect of his own misfortune.
That literary effort may not be quite as authentic as advertised. According to the New York Posts Miranda Devine, the text that has been released thus far tests as 100 percent AI when run through AI detectors, raising questions about whether the man who once traded on his last name is now outsourcing even his self-pity. Still, for a man reportedly drowning in debt and desperate to refurbish his reputation, cutting corners appears to be part of the business model.
Despite the polish, the familiar Hunter Biden keeps breaking through the veneer. If you needed any proof, consider what hes willing to do for (one assumes) money namely, sitting down for an interview in a grungy Philadelphia hotel room with self-proclaimed Groyper overlord Nick Fuentes, a fringe figure whose notoriety alone should have sent any serious image consultant running. The encounter almost ended in physical violence, and yet it is, somehow, still one of the least embarrassing things we can prove Hunter has ever done in a hotel room.

Callaghans attempts to get Hunter to cage-fight one of the far-rights kids somehow didnt work out yes, this is a real thing he tried to make happen, with Hunters encouragement but Fuentes took time out from his busy schedule of hating Jews and loving both Hitler and Stalin simultaneously to participate in the no question off limits interview absolutely nobody was asking for.
The setting, captured in photos, looked less like a high-end media sit-down and more like the aftermath of a lost weekend. Forget Hunter Biden, that looks like a hotel room Hunter Thompson would turn down, a visual reminder that the Biden familys prodigal son has never quite escaped the seedy aesthetic that has defined so many of his scandals. Its unclear what the near-fight was over, although perhaps the second-hand crack smoke that (from all appearances, judging by that photo) was being pumped into the suite by Callaghans crew had something to do with it.

Even the language used to describe the arrangement seemed unintentionally revealing. First: Probably shouldnt use already cooking something up when talking about Hunter if this is a PR flack leak, although given that its TMZ, one is hardly surprised. Second: One guesses if youre Hunters handlers and you finally find someone with a worse reputation than Bidens willing to sit down with him and generate clicks from the encounter, youd jump at the opportunity, too.
Fuentes himself hardly needs further amplification, and the less said about him, the better. The few times he has managed to secure meetings with political figures, it has typically been because they did not know who he was or what he represented, and at this stage virtually nobody can claim ignorance on that front.
Yet here he is, sharing a cramped, dingy room with the sitting presidents son, both men now occupying a strange political purgatory. At least both he and Hunter Biden have one thing in common now: Theyre supporters of Democrats who Democrats publicly loathe, a status that speaks volumes about the moral and ideological confusion on the modern left.
From a public relations standpoint, the optics are disastrous. However, when youre trying to undergo image rehab, its a bad sign when the only guy whos eager to share an interview with you is Nick Fuentes, and youre like, sure, lets make this thing happen!
Behind the spectacle lies a more sobering reality: Hunter Bidens financial and legal troubles remain extensive. One understands that Hunter is in quite a bit of debt, being sued by both the mother of his child that he refuses to meet for parental support and his own lawyers for not paying them, a pattern that undercuts the Biden familys carefully crafted image of compassion and responsibility.
His liabilities reportedly stretch into eight figures. He apparently owes at least $17 million after various forays into court including on tax and gun charges that eventually drew a pardon from his dad and is now basically a walking advertisement for the fact that longtime drug abuse will impair your thinking long after you stop using.
For conservatives, the episode is yet another reminder of the double standard that shields the presidents son from the full consequences that would befall any ordinary citizen. But again: At least we can say that an interview with Nick Fuentes facilitated by some bizarro YouTuber is now the least embarrassing and disgusting thing that we can document Hunter Biden as having done in a hotel room.
