Border Czar Tom Homan has unveiled a sweeping expansion of immigration enforcement, announcing the deployment of 10,000 additional agents across the United States as the administration intensifies its crackdown on illegal immigration.
Speaking at the Faith and Freedom Coalitions Road to the Majority conference in Washington, DC, Homan said the administration has already delivered unprecedented results in removing illegal immigrants from the country. According to Gateway Pundit, he told the audience, We had a record, historic year with deportations But now weve got 10,000 more agents on board. Wait until next year!
Homan also confronted the personal cost of taking a hard line on border security, noting ongoing threats from cartel operatives and left-wing open-borders activists directed at him and his family. Refusing to be intimidated, he issued a blunt warning: To the haters and the cartel members who threaten me?! Homan said. Come get some!
The veteran immigration official further described how President Donald Trump personally pressed him into service to help restore order at the southern border. Homan recalled the presidents challenge: Youve been bitching about [border security] for four years, you want to come fix it?
How do you say no to that? Homan said, underscoring his decision to step forward at a moment when many in Washington prefer to avoid the political heat surrounding immigration enforcement. Emphasizing his long career in government, he added, Ive worked for six presidents, ten administrations, before making his position unmistakably clear: No one comes close to President Trumps success.
