Jimmy Kimmel Announces Extended HiatusAnd Wait Until You See Who's Replacing Him!

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has announced he will temporarily vacate his ABC platform, handing his show over to a lineup of reliably left-wing guest hosts that all but guarantees its partisan tone will remain intact.

According to Gateway Pundit, Kimmel told his audience during Thursdays broadcast of Jimmy Kimmel Live! that I will be taking the next two months off, this time voluntarily, and that the program will be fronted by a rotating cast of substitutes. The headliner among them is longtime liberal activist and comedian Rosie ODonnell, a figure whose public animosity toward President Donald Trump has defined much of her recent career.

Kimmel introduced ODonnell with a pointed jab at the 45th president, remarking, I asked one of our commander-in-chiefs all-time favorites, Rosie ODonnell, to be here to keep the hits coming. Other guest hosts slated to fill in include Tiffany Haddish, Colman Domingo, Ike Barinholtz, Anthony Anderson and Jelly Roll, ensuring the shows ideological bent will remain firmly on the progressive side of the spectrum.

ODonnell, who has spent much of the past year in self-imposed exile in Ireland after leaving the United States following Donald Trumps re-election victory, has framed her move as a moral stand. I miss many things about life there at home and Im trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, thats when we will consider coming back, she said upon relocating.

Her feud with President Trump, which began nearly two decades ago, intensified last year when he publicly floated the idea of stripping her of U.S. citizenship. Because of the fact that Rosie ODonnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship, Trump wrote on Truth Social, adding, She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

With ODonnell and other progressive figures stepping in, the decision effectively cements Jimmy Kimmel Live! as a safe space for Hollywood liberalism rather than a venue for genuine debate or ideological diversity. Kimmel is expected to return later this summer, leaving viewers who prefer comedy without constant partisan messaging with little to look forward to during his hiatus.
