Twice-defeated Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton used Sundays Freedom 250 UFC event at the White House as another opportunity to attack President Donald Trump and his supporters.
The Freedom 250 UFC card, staged on the South Lawn to mark 250 years of the United States, drew massive crowds and patriotic pageantry, including motorcyclists performing aerial stunts and a bald eagle soaring over the audience, which stole the show at Freedom 250, according to The Gateway Pundit. The outlets Jordan Conradson even toured the towering fight structure known as The Claw in the days leading up to the event, underscoring the scale and significance of the celebration.
Left-wing activists and civil rights litigants attempted to derail the historic fight night, filing suit in a last-ditch effort to shut it down. On Friday, however, an Obama-appointed judge sided with the Trump administration, ruling that construction of The Claw was too far along and that the plaintiff really didnt have a standing to stop the event.
Undeterred by the legal defeat, Clinton took to social media on Sunday morning to vent her anger at President Trump and the spectacle on the White House grounds. Remember, during todays literal cage match on the White House grounds, bitter loser Hillary Clinton said.
She followed with a familiar progressive talking point aimed at delegitimizing Trumps tenure, declaring, No matter what, its not his house. Its our house, she said. Conservatives quickly fired back, with GOP Rep. Tim Burchett reminding Clinton of her husbands notorious Oval Office escapades and the moral baggage Democrats prefer to ignore.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton also weighed in, noting Clintons own history with White House property and reminding Americans that she stole furniture from the White House. While the left fumed and litigated, the Freedom 250 event went forward as planned, showcasing a confident, unapologetic celebration of American tradition, strength, and ownership by the peoplenot the political class that has so often treated the White House as its personal playground.
