President Trump is once again flexing his political muscle ahead of Tuesdays primaries, rolling out a slate of endorsements across six states that could shape the future of Republican leadership from statehouses to Capitol Hill.
The latest round of backing spans key contests in California, Iowa, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico and South Dakota, touching gubernatorial, congressional and Senate races, as reported by Fox News. It underscores President Trumps continued dominance within the Republican Party and his determination to elevate candidates who align with his America First agenda and challenge entrenched liberal power centers.
In Iowa, President Trump has thrown his support behind U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra, R-Iowa, who is seeking to become the states next governor. As your next Governor, Randy will fight tirelessly to Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Champion our Amazing Farmers and Ranchers, Empower Ethanol, Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Ensure LAW AND ORDER, Strengthen our incredible Military, Veterans, and Law Enforcement, Advance Election Integrity, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
California, long dominated by Democrats and plagued by high taxes, crime, and regulatory excess, is also in President Trumps sights as he seeks to help conservatives claw back influence in the deep-blue state. He has endorsed Steve Hilton in the gubernatorial race, a contest governed by Californias top-two primary system, in which all candidates appear on a single ballot and the two highest vote-getters advance to November regardless of party.
Of current Gov. Gavin Newsom, President Trump did not mince words, reflecting years of conservative frustration with progressive mismanagement in Sacramento. "He is a truly fine man, one who has watched as this once great State has gone to Hell. Gavin Newscum and the Democrats have done an absolutely horrendous job," Trump said of Hilton and Newsom.
President Trump sharpened his critique of Californias left-wing leadership, highlighting issues that have driven residents and businesses out of the state. "Crime is increasing, and Taxes are the highest of any State in the Country, maybe the World," Trump added. "Steve can turn it around, before it is too late, and, as President, I will help him to do so! With our Administration, working alongside a Great Governor like Steve Hilton, California can be better than ever before."
Beyond the governors race, Trump is working to bolster a conservative bench in Californias congressional delegation. He has endorsed California GOP Assemblyman James Gallagher, who is running for Congress, as well as San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond, who is also seeking a seat in the House.
Additional California endorsements include Reps. Tom McClintock, Jay Obernolte and Vince Fong, all reliable conservative voices in a hostile political environment. Kevin Lincoln, a former Stockton mayor, also secured Trumps backing as he runs for a seat in the newly redrawn 13th Congressional District.
President Trumps influence is not confined to the West Coast, as he continues to shape the national GOP map. Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., also received a nod from Trump, reinforcing support for a combat veteran who has been a strong advocate for national security and veterans issues.
In New Jersey, Trump has endorsed Reps. Tom Kean Jr., Jeff Van Drew and Chris Smith, signaling his commitment to strengthening Republican representation even in traditionally blue territory. He also backed Rep. Troy Downing, R-Mont., and endorsed Rep. Ashley Hinson, R-Iowa, in her U.S. Senate bid, further consolidating a roster of candidates aligned with limited government and strong borders.
The endorsement list extends into the heartland and the Plains, where conservative values remain central to political life. Trump also endorsed Aaron Flint, who is running to represent Montana, South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley and Greg Cunningham, a former police officer from New Mexico.
President Trump had previously endorsed Sen. Mike Rounds, R-S.D., reinforcing his support for incumbents who have stood with his agenda on issues such as energy independence and judicial appointments. In May, Trump touted victories by several candidates he had backed in GOP primaries or runoff elections, a track record he is now seeking to expand as Republicans look to secure stronger majorities and push back against the excesses of the left.
