Jill Bidens Stunning Admission: How Did Aggressive Stage-Nine Cancer Slip Past White House Doctors?

Written by Published

Former First Lady Jill Biden is attempting to explain away years of mounting public concern over her husbands health, even as she concedes that his aggressive cancer somehow went undetected by White House physicians.

In a preview of a CBS News Sunday Morning interview with Rita Braver, Jill Biden recounted the moment she learned of her husbands diagnosis, which emerged in May 2025, months after the couple exited the White House. According to The Gateway Pundit, the then-82-year-old was found to have an aggressive form of prostate cancer that had already metastasized to his bones, raising serious questions about how such an advanced condition could escape notice under constant presidential medical supervision.

President Trump, now in his second administration, reacted sharply when the diagnosis was first reported, suggesting that the situation reflected a broader pattern of concealment by the prior White House medical team. It takes a long time to get to that situation to get to a stage nine. I think that if you take a look, its the same doctor that said that Joe was cognitively fine, he told reporters, referring to former White House physician Kevin OConnor, who has long been accused of downplaying Bidens obvious decline.

Jill Biden herself appeared to bolster those concerns, acknowledging that the cancer was not caught while her husband was still in office. Somehow that was missed, Jill Biden said of the diagnosis, a striking admission given the extensive medical resources available to any occupant of the Oval Office.

Promoting her new book, View from the East Wing: A Memoir, Jill Biden sat for what CBS billed as her first solo, in-depth interview since leaving Washington. The full segment is slated to air Sunday, but the network has already released several clips that highlight both her emotional reaction and her continued insistence that nothing was fundamentally wrong with her husbands mental acuity.

I can remember getting the diagnosis, and it was just it was shocking, Jill said, recalling the moment she was informed of the cancer. The [White House] doctor said that, according to the American Urological Association, that men over 70 dont need a PSA, a blood test anymore, because its a slow-growing cancer.

I have to say, Rita, I do feel we had amazing care in the White House, but somehow that was missed, she added, effectively conceding that reliance on bureaucratic guidelines and expert assurances left a sitting president with undetected, advanced disease. In another pre-released portion of the interview, however, she pivoted to defending her husbands mental state, claiming she had never witnessed any cognitive decline.

When Braver pressed the issue and observed that the public could see he wasnt the same Joe Biden, Jill Biden pushed back, albeit haltingly. Well, I dont think thats true. He was the same, the essence of the same Joe Biden, she insisted, even as she acknowledged the obvious effects of age and stress.

But yeah, he was slowing down. He was getting older. I mean, we all observe that when you know, its a very intense job. I think it ages you, um, quickly, she continued, effectively confirming what millions of Americans had already concluded from Bidens public appearances and faltering performances. As The Gateway Pundit reported, Jill Biden has previously admitted that her husbands disastrous debate against President Trump frightened her and led her to fear he was suffering a stroke onstage.

I was frightened, because I had never ever seen Joe like that before or since. Never since, Jill Biden told Braver in that earlier interview. As I watched it, I thought, Oh, my God, hes having a stroke. And it scared me to death.

President Trump, whose commanding debate performance underscored the contrast in vigor and clarity, responded to Jill Bidens latest remarks with characteristic bluntness. Did my strong performance in that debate cause him to plain and simple choke, leading to his ignominious defeat, or were other reasons the cause? Nobody else knows the answer to that, BUT I DO!!! the President said, openly mocking the idea that Jill Biden believed her husband might be having a stroke yet chose to keep him in the race rather than act like any good wife would.
