This Is Insane: Toddler Loses Teeth In Alleged Face-Biting Rampage By Illegal Immigrant

A horrific, seemingly random assault in a San Antonio park has left a three-year-old girl badly injured and her mother struggling to cope after an illegal alien allegedly tried to bite the childs face off.

According to The Post Millennial, police and court records state that 24-year-old Atharva Vyas, described by authorities as having entered the United States illegally from a foreign country, now faces charges of injury to a child with intent to cause bodily injury, assault causing bodily injury, and illegal entry. The attack reportedly occurred at approximately 3 pm on April 18 at Espada Park on the citys South Side.

Investigators say the violence erupted without warning as Gabriella Perez walked with her young daughter through the park. Vyas allegedly seized Perez by the hair, dragging her to the ground and causing her to lose hold of the child.

While Perez lay on the ground, police say the suspect turned on the toddler, viciously biting her arms and face. A nearby bystander intervened, managing to restrain Vyas until officers arrived on the scene.

Authorities emphasized that the witness had no prior connection to either the victims or the suspect, highlighting the apparent randomness of the assault. Perez and her daughter received medical treatment at the park, but the mother has since described the deeper impact as devastating.

In a GoFundMe appeal, Perez called the incident life-changing, adding that she believes she and her daughter were deliberately targeted. Her little girl sustained severe facial injuries, including multiple bite wounds and the loss of two teeth.

Beyond the visible harm, the child is now suffering from serious emotional trauma that has upended the familys routine. Since the attack, my daughter has needed constant care, comfort, and reassurance, Perez wrote.

She is unable to return to daycare or be left with anyone else, so I have had to take time away from work to be by her side. Perez said the family is now overwhelmed as they focus on the girls recovery and attempt to rebuild a sense of safety.

We are reaching out for help during this incredibly difficult time, she wrote. Any amount truly makes a difference, and if you're not able to donate, sharing our story means just as much to us. Vyas is being held at the Bexar County Jail as investigators continue to probe his motives, a case that will likely intensify public concern over border security and the consequences of lax immigration enforcement.
