More than 1,100 pastors, ministry leaders, and faith leaders from across the United States gathered in Nashville for the Pastors Summit hosted by Turning Point USA Faith.
The three-day event featured diverse speakers, including Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, former NFL football star Michael Oher, financial planner Dave Ramsey, former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, and pastors Rob McCoy, Russell Johnson, and Jentezen Franklin. Other notable speakers included professional mixed martial artist Michael Chandler, Fox News's Pete Hegseth, minister and conservative politician E.W. Jackson, mathematician James Lindsay, and women's sports advocate Riley Gaines.
Charlie Kirk, the host of The Charlie Kirk Show, explained that the Pastors Summit was created to energize Christian leaders nationwide to fight against moral and spiritual attacks on the nation. Kirk believes the United States is enduring a brutal war on its culture that aims to destroy Christianity, a part of America's founding. He stated that if believers don't speak into the most difficult cultural, moral, and spiritual debates of our time, then those who don't agree with us, or worse, those who want our destruction and to harm the Christian Church, of all faith traditions from Catholic to Evangelical to mainline, those are the voices that will fill the vacuum.
Kirk believes that the vast majority of the Founders were devout Christians and that the nation's laws, values, and traditions are rooted in Christian thinking and philosophy. He emphasized that it's paramount that the Church and its leaders continue to take an active posture in the nation's direction. Kirk also believes that most churches are failing in this regard.
As the radical left aims at Christians across the nation with hateful progressive policies, such as the removal of God from schools and the Los Angeles Dodgers honoring a Christian hate group with a community hero award, Kirk said Christians could no longer sit idly and believes that the future of the nation depends on church-going Americans becoming politically engaged.
"The public sphere has been left vacant by a church that became convinced that its sole job is to address the needs, wants and concerns of the flock AFTER death," Kirk said. "We believe that the faithful are called to be active and engaged in the public sphere, in the local community, and in the civic process in the here and now."
Attendees of the Pastors Summit gave Turning Point USA Faith glowing reviews. They said that attending the event was a "blessing" that energized them to continue their fight to save America from the radical left. Richard G. Oliver, an attendee, said, "Just finished attending the TURNING POINT USA-FAITH, Pastor Summit In Nashville, Tennessee. It was absolutely amazing. I would give Charlie Kirk an AAA plus and the total Summit a AA plus. Great team, outstanding food at the meals and powerful, dynamic speakers! The River Fellowship had a great presence there and many new connections!"
