Joe Biden surfaced in Los Angeles this week, drawing brief attention as he made a tightly managed public appearance at a local ice cream shop.
According to Gateway Pundit, Biden joined Jay Leno at Handels Ice Cream in La Caada Flintridge while filming an episode of Jay Lenos Garage, where cameras captured a visibly disoriented Biden awkwardly greeting patrons. One man in the shop told him, We are from Ukraine, prompting Biden to respond with a familiar boast: I spent a lot of time in Ukraine, a remark that will raise eyebrows among critics already wary of his entanglements abroad.
Observers noted that Biden appeared confused as he moved through the shop, reinforcing growing concerns about his stamina and mental sharpness. The episode follows another recent sighting at a Delaware coffee shop, where the videoposted to TikTok last week, though the exact date is unclearshowed Biden shuffling slowly, looking feeble and exhausted as customers largely ignored him.
Barely anyone appeared to notice Biden in Delaware, a stark contrast to the energetic crowds that routinely gather for President Trump. Biden has largely remained out of the public eye since leaving office and disclosing a cancer diagnosis, emerging only sporadically for carefully staged events.
Yet when he does reappear, it is often to take aim at President Trump rather than to offer a compelling vision or defend his own record. Last month, Biden used a surprise appearance at a St. Patricks Day breakfast in Boston, Massachusetts, to unleash another attack on President Trump, and in early March he similarly slammed President Trump during a political event in South Carolina, underscoring how Democrats still rely on anti-Trump rhetoric even as Bidens own public presence continues to diminish.
