Watch: Pro-Palestinian Protesters Arm Appears To Break As GOP Senator Jumps Into Chaotic Senate Brawl

A Senate Armed Services hearing descended into turmoil on Wednesday when Senator Tim Sheehy (R-MT) intervened to assist US Capitol Police in removing a disruptive pro-Palestinian protester, an encounter that ended with the protesters arm apparently breaking.

The confrontation unfolded as reported by The Post Millennial, when Brian McGinnis, a Marine Corps veteran and Green Party Senate candidate in North Carolina, was dragged from the chamber after attempting to cling to a doorway. Video circulating on X shows McGinnis resisting removal, gripping the door frame as officers and Sheehy, a former Navy SEAL, worked to pull him out of the hearing room.

As Sheehy and law enforcement struggled to separate him from the door, a sharp snap could be heard on the recording, and McGinniss arm appeared to break in the process. The audible crack seemed to halt the chaos momentarily, as the room fell into a tense quiet following the injury.

Sheehy later issued a statement defending his actions and praising the officers efforts to maintain order. Capitol Police were attempting to remove an unhinged protester from the Armed Services hearing. He was fighting back. I decided to help out and deescalate the situation. This gentleman came to the Capitol looking for a confrontation, and he got one. I hope he gets the help he needs without causing further violence.

The disruption began when McGinnis rose during the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on the Current Readiness of the Joint Force and shouted, America does not want to send its sons and daughters to war for Israel. Officers immediately moved to remove him, at which point Sheehy stepped in to support their efforts and restore order in the chamber.

Capitol Police later condemned McGinniss conduct in a statement cited by Fox News, declaring, An unruly man who started to illegally protest during a hearing put everyone in a dangerous position by violently resisting and fighting our officers attempts to remove him from the room. Three officers required medical treatment after the altercation, underscoring the risks faced by law enforcement when political activism crosses into physical confrontation.

McGinnis now faces three counts of assaulting an officer, three counts of resisting arrest, a crowding charge, and additional counts of obstructing and incommoding tied to his outburst. He has previously claimed mental illness related to the conflict in Gaza, which he has labeled a genocide, a characterization frequently used by the far left to inflame tensions rather than encourage serious debate over US foreign policy and national security.
