Lara Trump Blames Left-Wing Rhetoric After Third Trump Assassination Scare (Watch)

Lara Trump is warning that President Donald Trump may not survive the next attempt on his life after yet another armed assailant tried to breach Mar-a-Lago over the weekend.

According to the Daily Caller, U.S. Secret Service agents and a Palm Beach County deputy shot and killed a man early Sunday morning after he allegedly forced his way into the inner perimeter of the presidents Florida residence while armed with a shotgun and carrying a gas can. The confrontation, detailed at a joint press conference by federal and local officials, is the latest in a series of increasingly brazen threats against President Trump, raising serious questions about the climate of political hatred that has been normalized by the left and amplified by much of the media.

Lara Trump, speaking on Fox & Friends, directly linked the incident to the relentless demonization of President Trump by his opponents and their allies in the press. [W]henever you just casually throw around terms like Nazi, like fascist, like Hitler and racist, what do you think the consequences of that ultimately will be? she said.

She appealed to a higher standard of civic discourse, insisting that Americans must reject this kind of rhetoric before it leads to even greater tragedy. We are better than this as a country.

As both a family member and a political figure, Lara Trump made clear that the danger is not theoretical after multiple attempts on the presidents life during the 2024 campaign. And Ill tell you as a family member, I keep wondering how many chances does one man get? Hes not gonna be lucky enough at some point, she continued.

She emphasized how close the nation came to another catastrophe at Mar-a-Lago, noting that the president and his wife narrowly avoided being present during the attack. Thank God he wasnt at Mar-a-Lago and the First Lady wasnt there this weekend. But you dont get lucky every single time, guys.

Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw laid out the sequence of events that led to the shooting during Sundays press conference. At 1:30 this morning the security detail detected an individual had made his way into the inner perimeter of Mar-a-Lago. A deputy and two Secret Service agents on the detail went to that area to investigate, Bradshaw said.

They confronted a white male that was carrying a gas can and a shotgun.

Bradshaw explained that officers attempted to de-escalate before the suspect allegedly raised his weapon. He was ordered to drop those two pieces of equipment that he had with him and, at which time he put down the gas can, raised the shotgun to a shooting position, and at that point in time the deputy and the two Secret Service agents fired their weapons and neutralized the threat, he added.

He is deceased at the scene.

Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo later identified the suspect as Austin Tucker Martin on Sunday Morning Futures, underscoring the seriousness of the breach at one of the most heavily protected private residences in America. This follows the July 13, 2024, attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, when President Trump was shot in the right ear just minutes into a campaign rally, an attack that could easily have ended his life.

Republican Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson, the presidents former physician, revealed in a medical update that the bullet came less than a quarter of an inch from entering his head, a chilling reminder of how close the country came to losing a leading presidential candidate. A second plot was disrupted on Sept. 15, 2024, when a Secret Service agent discovered Ryan Wesley Routh hiding in the bushes with a rifle at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, reinforcing Lara Trumps warning that a toxic political culture and escalating left-wing rhetoric are creating an environment where such attempts are becoming disturbingly frequent.
