Trumps Explosive Truth Social Rant Puts Netflix Boardroom On Notice

President Donald Trump is calling on Netflix to oust board member Susan Rice after she openly advocated political retribution against corporations and institutions that supported him and his policies.

According to the Gateway Pundit, Rice, a longtime Democratic operative who served as national security adviser and U.N. ambassador under Barack Obama and later as a senior official in the Biden White House, is now under fire for comments that many see as a direct threat to businesses and organizations aligned with the America First agenda. Posting on Truth Social, President Trump warned the streaming giant that it should distance itself from Rice or face repercussions, declaring that Netflix must choose between partisan vendettas and its broader customer base.

Netflix should fire racist, Trump Deranged Susan Rice, IMMEDIATELY, or pay the consequences, he wrote, making clear that he views her presence on the board as a provocation to millions of conservative subscribers. Shes got no talent or skills Purely a political hack! HER POWER IS GONE, AND WILL NEVER BE BACK. How much is she being paid, and for what??? he added, underscoring his belief that Rices influence stems from ideology, not merit.

Rices controversial remarks came during a recent podcast, where she outlined a punitive vision for companies, media outlets, and law firms that did not oppose President Trump. When it comes to the elites, you know, the corporate interests, the law firms, the universities, the media its not going to end well for them, for those that decided that they would act in their perceived very narrow self-interest, which I would underscore, is very short-term self-interest, and, you know, take a knee to Trump, she warned, signaling that Democrats intend to use power to settle political scores.

Doubling down, Rice insisted that support for Trump is already backfiring, asserting, Theyre now starting to realize, wait a minute, no, this is not popular. Trump is not popular. What he is doing, whether on the economy and affordability or on immigration now, is not popular, and there is likely to be a swing in the other direction, and they are going to be caught with more than their pants down. Her comments reflect a broader progressive push to intimidate private institutions into abandoning conservative causes, even when those causes align with free markets, border security, and economic growth.

Rice further suggested that a future Democrat resurgence would bring payback, not reconciliation, for right-leaning corporations. If these corporations think that the Democrats when they come back in power are going to, you know, play by the old rules and [say] Never mind, well forgive you for all the people you fired, all the policies and principles you violated, all the laws youve skirted, she said, before issuing a stark warning: I think theyve got another thing coming theyre going to be surprised. Democrats have had a bellyful, and were not going to play by, you know, the old set of rules.

Rice rejoined Netflixs board in 2023 after leaving her post as director of the Domestic Policy Council in the Biden administration, reinforcing the perception that the company is increasingly aligned with the Democratic political class. The stakes are even higher as Netflix is now competing with Paramount Skydance Corp. to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery Inc., a major media deal that President Trump has the authority to delay or block, giving him real leverage if the company chooses to stand by a board member openly championing partisan retaliation.
