FBI Swarms Arizona ICE Warehouse After Midnight Attack

A federal warehouse operated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Surprise, Arizona, is under federal investigation after an apparent act of vandalism and arson in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to Gateway Pundit, the incident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. local time and involved a broken window and what investigators described as evidence of minor and limited fire activity. Local officers from the Surprise Police Department were first to arrive on scene, but the case has since been turned over to the FBI, which is now leading the probe with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

Authorities have not announced any arrests, nor have they released descriptions of potential suspects or motives. The facility itself has drawn political attention in recent weeks, as Democrats have loudly objected to its use, further heightening tensions around federal immigration enforcement.

This latest attack comes on the heels of a separate attempted arson targeting a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) office in Meridian, Idaho, just days earlier. In that incident, a suspect allegedly tried to weaponize a stolen emergency vehicle in a brazen assault on federal property.

Fox News reports: The suspect allegedly stole an ambulance from a bay at St. Lukes West hospital on Wednesday, drove the ambulance through the parking lot, and retrieved gas cans that were staged in nearby vegetation, according to Meridian Police Chief Tracy Basterrechea. The suspect, who has not been identified, then drove the ambulance directly into the North Portico building, which houses DHS offices, Basterrechea said.

Federal officials have documented a clear rise in attacks, threats, and vandalism directed at ICE and related immigration facilities in recent years, a trend often downplayed by the left despite its obvious implications for public safety and the rule of law. In July 2025, a coordinated ambush at the Prairieland Detention Facility in Alvarado, Texas, saw a group use fireworks and vandalism to lure officers into gunfire, wounding one police officer.

Ten individuals were charged with attempted murder of federal officers following the incident. In June 2025, protests at an ICE facility in Southwest Portland, Oregon, escalated into vandalism and graffiti, leading to multiple arrests for criminal mischief.

In October, a U.S. Homeland Security office in Williston, Vermont, was vandalized with threatening graffiti amid protests over surveillance plans. More recently, in January, protests in Minneapolis, Minnesota, following ICE-related shootings included instances of vandalism and threats and doxing of agents.

These recurring attacks underscore a dangerous climate in which federal law enforcement and immigration officers are increasingly treated as legitimate targets by radical activists. While the Biden administration and its allies continue to placate open-borders agitators, conservatives argue that restoring respect for law, backing ICE and DHS personnel, and aggressively prosecuting such crimes are essential steps to prevent political violence from becoming the new normal.
