Aye Aye Captain: Portland Man Dressed As Captain Jack Sparrow Arrested On MAX Train After Doing This...

A man that identified himself as Jack Sparrow was recently arrested and slammed with multiple charges for actions on board a M.A.X. train in Portland, Oregon.

He allegedly tried to bite police when they stopped him and attempted his arrest.

Moviegoers all know who Captain Jack Sparrow is. However, it wasn't him despite Johnny Depp continuing to make headlines. Instead, another man donned the famous Captain Jack Sparrow costume, causing mayhem.

Tri-Met police received a call about an unwanted person on a M.A.X. train. When the employees could not get the situation under control on their own, the authorities intervened.

The Post Millennial reports, "The man allegedly tried to bite officers while being arrested, but authorities were eventually able to apprehend him. He was booked at the Multnomah County Detention Center just after 10:30 PM and subsequently charged with interfering with public transportation, disorderly conduct, trespass, resisting arrest, and menacing."

When arrested, he refused to tell police his real name. Instead, he would only respond that he is Captain Jack Sparrow, leading to them entering that name with his booking information.

So far, police have not released his real name. All we know is that the 43-year-old identified as the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean character.

They also have not released details regarding what the man did while on the train. They only disclosed that he attempted to bite police, which is resisting arrest. However, given the general drunken shenanigans of Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie, we can only assume that it was disruptive, possibly loud, and the man may have had a bottle of rum or two before boarding the train. Or, perhaps, he was furious that there wasn't any rum on the train.

What do you think Captain Jack Sparrow did that was considered disorderly or menacing?
