Leftist Activist Who Branded Trump Supporters Pedophiles Busted In Child Sex Sting

A prominent left-wing activist who has repeatedly smeared Republicans and supporters of President Donald Trump as pedophiles is now facing serious child sex charges after allegedly attempting to meet what he believed was an 11-year-old girl for sex in Bremerton, Washington.

According to The Post Millennial, Kitsap County prosecutors have charged 44-year-old Houston Curry Wade, a former part-time Physics and Astronomy instructor at Edmonds College, with Attempted Child Molestation in the First Degree and Communication With a Minor for Immoral Purposes. As reported by The Post Millennial, Wade is described by the Lynnwood Times as a well-known leftist activist who uses the online handle RockGod, under which he routinely labels Republicans and Trump supporters as Pedophiles.

According to court documents obtained by The Ari Hoffman Show on Talk Radio 570 KVI, an NCIS special agent contacted Bremerton police on Nov. 3, 2025, regarding an undercover operation targeting an individual seeking to meet an apparent 11-year-old sixth-grade girl. The agent had been posing online as the child, engaging in extended conversations with a suspect who allegedly believed he was grooming a minor.

The initial contact allegedly began on Aug. 29, 2025, on an app called Hush, where the user, believed to be Wade, used the screen name AuthorityFigure and referenced his teaching background. The undercover persona later shifted the conversation to Kik, where the user provided a new handle and continued communicating for roughly 110 days in what detectives described as grooming, including flattery about the supposed childs appearance and increasingly explicit sexual messages.

Investigators say the pair first planned to meet earlier in December, but that encounter was postponed and rescheduled for Dec. 17 at East Park in Bremerton, near the skatepark, between 5 and 6 pm. Police reported that they surveilled Wade leaving his Bainbridge Island area residence around 3:11 pm, then stopping at a Silverdale hotel, where he entered with a backpack and later exited without it, prompting officers to secure a search warrant for the room after discovering he held two keys to the same room.

The report states that the hotel room contained numerous items consistent with the sexual acts discussed in the online chats, including condoms, lubricants, sex toys, and bondage items. After departing the hotel, Wade allegedly drove to the skatepark area, arrived around 5:25 pm, and texted the undercover persona to meet him near his parked vehicle, at which point officers arrested him without incident, according to the narrative.

The probable-cause statement notes that Wade initially waived his Miranda rights but feigned ignorance, claiming he was merely lost while trying to find a restaurant that detectives pointed out had closed in 2024. Investigators allege surveillance footage contradicted his story, showing him driving directly to the meeting location and waiting there until his arrest, after which he requested an attorney.

Wade is currently being held at the Kitsap County Jail on a $750,000 bond as he awaits further court proceedings. If convicted on the charges, Wade faces the possibility of life in prison, a stark contrast to his online persona that vilified conservatives as Pedophiles while, according to prosecutors, he allegedly pursued the very crimes he publicly projected onto others.
