In a recent appearance on Newsmax, Representative Tim Burchett, a Republican from Tennessee, reiterated his belief that the government is concealing the truth about unidentified flying objects (UFOs).
Burchett joined Dr. Steven Greer, a prominent researcher and founder of the Disclosure Project, on the program "Finnerty" to discuss the intriguing discovery of mummified remains in Peru, which have sparked significant curiosity due to their unusual characteristics.
According to Newsmax, the mummies, standing at approximately three feet tall and possessing three fingers and toes, remain an enigma with no definitive explanation. Both Greer and Burchett have been vocal advocates for increased transparency from Washington regarding UFO phenomena.
When questioned about potential government deception, Burchett asserted, "I think they are," referencing the long-standing theories surrounding the Roswell incident, where it is believed that a crashed alien spacecraft was recovered by the government.
He highlighted the challenge of obtaining information from defense contractors involved in missile defense systems, stating, "We can't go to them and say, 'Give me your records.' It's not like it's a government agency. It's very difficult to get that information."
Greer shared insights from their expedition to Mexico City, where they conducted tests on one of the mummies, revealing unusual metallurgy. "It doesn't match any known modern human metallurgy," Greer explained. He further elaborated on the discovery of organic resin around the center of a sphere, which carbon-dating indicated to be approximately 25,000 years old.
Burchett expressed his belief that President Donald Trump harbors a desire to disclose classified UFO information, but he suggested that the Pentagon's influence might hinder such efforts. "The war pimps at the Pentagon have his ear, and they're going to try to fold this into anything else but giving us disclosure," Burchett remarked.
The congressman emphasized the abundance of credible evidence supporting the need for transparency, including testimonies from professionals, legislators, eyewitnesses, and photographic documentation. He urged for decisive action from leadership, stating, "We've got to have the man at the top come out and say, 'We're going to release this stuff immediately and not wait for Washington to hold a bunch of dadgum hearings.'"
