Don Bongino's One-Year Stint Ends With Epic Sign-Off

Dan Bongino has concluded his tenure as the deputy director of the FBI, marking his last day with the agency on Saturday in Palm Beach, Florida.

According to WND, Bongino took to X on Saturday evening, coinciding with President Donald Trump's announcement of the arrest of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro, to share his farewell message: It was a busy last day on the job. This will be my last post on this account."

He expressed gratitude for his time at the FBI, stating, Tomorrow I return to civilian life. Its been an incredible year thanks to the leadership and decisiveness of President Trump. Bongino also reflected on his experience, saying, It was the honor of a lifetime to work with Director Patel, and to serve you, the American people. See you on the other side.

Bongino's departure had been anticipated since December 17, when he announced his intention to leave the FBI in January. While he did not provide a specific reason for his resignation, President Trump suggested that Bongino might be eager to return to broadcasting. Trump remarked, Dan did a great job. I think he wants to go back to his show. In a previous post, Bongino shared Trump's announcement regarding Venezuela, adding, God bless America, and all those who defend Her.

In July, as reported by WorldNetDaily, Bongino made a cryptic post on X, revealing that he had been shocked to the core by revelations from ongoing investigations, though he did not disclose the details. He emphasized the importance of transparency, stating, We cannot run a Republic like this, and vowed to deliver the truth to the American people, asserting, We are going to get the answers WE ALL DESERVE. Bongino's dissatisfaction with the Attorney General's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case reportedly brought him close to resigning earlier in the year.

Rumors circulated that if Attorney General Bondi remained in her position, either FBI Director Kash Patel or Bongino might resign. Journalist and Trump ally Laura Loomer commented on July 11, We might not have a Deputy FBI Director by Monday. We could possibly see a weekend resignation from the FBI by Dan Bongino.

Loomer further noted, Source tells me Kash Patel agrees with Bonginos sentiment and also agrees that Blondi needs to be removed from her post as AG. She urged President Trump to intervene, stating, The MAGA base would like to see Trump FIRE Blondi. She is a massive liability to this otherwise great administration.

Bongino, a former Secret Service agent and political commentator, has consistently advocated for conservative values and transparency in government. His departure from the FBI raises questions about the internal dynamics of the agency and the broader implications for the Trump administration.

As Bongino transitions back to civilian life, his commitment to revealing the truth remains a focal point of his public persona.
