Texas Launches 'Sharia-Free America Caucus' To Counter Islam And Sharia Law's Dangerous Influence Nationwide

In a recent development, two Republican lawmakers have unveiled a new caucus within the House of Representatives, with the objective of "safeguarding Western civilization in the United States.

".

The caucus aims to enlighten Americans about the escalating influence of Islam, particularly Sharia law. The caucus, named the "Sharia-Free America Caucus," was initiated by Reps. Chip Roy (R-Texas) and Keith Self (R-Texas) on Thursday.

According to One America News, the caucus is a response to the "disturbing increase of Sharia Law in the United States." The lawmakers argue that Sharia law is a dominant force that is incompatible with the U.S. Constitution. Sharia law, a moral code followed by devout Muslims, is derived from the Quran. It also refers to the strict legal codes enforced by some nonsecular Muslim-majority nations such as Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan.

The significant influx of Muslim immigrants from nations that adhere to or are sympathetic to Sharia law has sparked concerns about potential attempts by minority Muslim communities to introduce Sharia law ethics and values into the United States. This concern led to the establishment of the Sharia-Free America Caucus.

"America is facing a threat that directly attacks our Constitution and our Western values: the spread of Sharia law. From Texas to every state in this constitutional republic, instances of Sharia adherents masquerading as refugeesand in many cases, sleeper cells connected to terrorist organizationsare threatening the American way of life. Those who succumb to this political ideology seek to replace our legal system and Constitution, Roy stated.

Roy further emphasized the lack of freedom of speech, religion, and women's rights under Sharia law, citing Europe as a cautionary example for America. He stressed the need for America's immigration system to prepare for this challenge, not only to preserve the constitutional republic but also to lead in the spiritual warfare.

He expressed pride in co-chairing the caucus with Keith Self, emphasizing the importance of their colleagues understanding the stakes involved in preserving America, Western civilization, and its people.

The press release also highlighted U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville's (R-Ala.) support for the caucus's formation, describing him as the "leading voice in the Senate against Sharia."

For months, Ive been warning about the growing threat of Islam in the United States. Islam isnt a religion, its a death cult. Sharia Law teaches that it is righteous to kill all infidels, and especially Christians, Tuberville stated.

Tuberville referred to a recent terror attack in Australia by "Radical Islamists," which resulted in the death of 15 innocent Jewish people celebrating Hanukkah. He warned that such terrorist attacks could become commonplace if the nation does not wake up to the threat of this anti-American ideology.

The caucus's formation follows the introduction of the Preserving a Sharia-Free America Act in October by Roy and Tuberville. The Act aims to prevent foreign nationals from countries that adhere to Sharia law from entering or residing in the United States. However, both versions of the bill remain in committee.

Sharia law allows or mandates harsh and inhumane punishments. For crimes like theft, adultery, or blasphemy, penalties can include amputation, stoning, lashing, or even crucifixion in extreme cases. Such measures have been implemented in countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Sudan, Nigeria, among other Muslim nations, leading to arbitrary justice and fear among populations.

Apostasy and blasphemy laws are also criticized for suppressing free speech and religious freedom, with death penalties enforced in places like Pakistan, contradicting international human rights norms. Enforcement often involves compulsion, including vigilante violence, such as acid attacks for perceived immodesty, which fosters a culture of intolerance and coercion rather than voluntary adherence.

Sharia law also institutionalizes sexism through rules that disadvantage women in family, legal, and social matters. Women's testimony in court is often valued at half that of a man's, inheritance shares for daughters are typically half those of sons, and men can divorce unilaterally while women must provide justification and may lose financial rights.

In essence, Sharia law is rigid and outdated, clashing with Western American principles and equality. Interpretations by Islamist leaders are often simplistic or ignorant, treating Sharia as a fixed, universal code. The formation of the Sharia-Free America Caucus is a clear indication of the growing concern among some lawmakers about the potential influence of Sharia law in the United States.
