Beloved Conservative Heavyweight Grabs Charlie Kirk's Radio Time Slot!

In a significant development that is set to resonate with conservatives, Salem Media, the parent company of Townhall Media and RedState, has announced a significant reshuffle in its radio programming.

Scott Jennings and Alex Marlow are slated to helm the 12:00 p.m. ET to 3:00 p.m. ET radio slot, previously occupied by The Charlie Kirk Show. This strategic move will see Marlow, the current editor-in-chief at Breitbart, kick off the first hour, setting the stage for Jennings to commandeer the final two hours.

As reported by RedState, Jennings, a popular conservative voice known for his unapologetic and humorous critiques of leftists on CNN, joined the Salem Media Radio Network earlier this year with a one-hour daily show. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to build upon the legacy left by Charlie Kirk and acknowledged the Turning Point USA team for their stewardship of the radio show in the challenging period following Kirk's assassination.

Scott Jennings stated, First, to my friend Andrew Kolvet and the Turning Point USA team, thank you for your stewardship of Charlies radio legacy over these last several months. It has been nothing short of brilliant. These are some of the most important hours in talk radio, shaped by voices who didnt just fill time, but moved the national conversation. Im grateful to Salem for the trust theyve placed in me to step into that legacy. Expanding the show gives us the space and time to deliver serious analysis, honest debate, and thoughtful conversations for the audience. Looking forward to more great guests and more common sense for the American people!

Marlow, who hosts The Alex Marlow Show Presented by Breitbart News, currently part of the Salem Podcast Network, also expressed admiration for Kirk. He acknowledged the influence of conservative media stalwarts such as Andrew Breitbart, Larry Elder, and Dennis Prager on his career.

Alex Marlow shared, Even before I became the first employee of Breitbart News and a mentee of web pioneer Andrew Breitbart, I was a talk radio junkie. It has been a constant part of my media diet since I was a teenager and has informed my news judgement as I lead Breitbart's virtual newsroom.

Many of the hosts that have captured my attention and imagination over the decades are or were on the Salem dial. Larry Elder was my first talk radio love, years went by where I didn't miss a single moment of the Dennis Prager Show, and it was a rare pleasure to be a weekly guest on my friend Charlie Kirk's show during the last year of his life. I have deep respect for the Salem audience as well as my on-air colleagues both as people and as broadcasters. I can't wait to get started.

The Marlow-Jennings duo will be stepping into the significant 12-3 p.m. radio time slot, a slot made iconic by the late Rush Limbaugh. Phil Boyce, Senior Vice President of Content for Salem Media, emphasized the gravity of the moment, stating, Salem has earned the trust of conservative audiences for decades, and we dont take that lightly. Scott Jennings and Alex Marlow each bring a distinct voice, a rare ability to engage audiences, and real seriousness to the conversation. Together, they will carry the Salem legacy forward.

Devotees of The Charlie Kirk Show can rest assured that the show will continue as part of the Salem Podcast Network. The show's executive producer, Andrew Kolvet, expressed excitement about the show's future and praised Alex and Scott as the ideal hosts to take over the radio segment.

The new radio programming featuring the Alex Marlow/Scott Jennings duo is set to commence on Monday, January 5, 2026. This move is a testament to Salem Media's commitment to providing its conservative audience with engaging, insightful, and original content, and is a clear indication of the company's confidence in the abilities of Marlow and Jennings to carry forward the legacy of The Charlie Kirk Show.
