Trump Drops Incredible News About National Guardsman's Recovery!

In a recent address, President Donald Trump relayed an inspiring update about Andrew Wolfe, a member of the West Virginia National Guard.

Wolfe was critically injured in a terrorist attack in Washington, DC, just before Thanksgiving. The incident, orchestrated by an Afghan national, also claimed the life of another guard member, Sarah Beckstrom.

According to RedState, during a speech in Pennsylvania focused on the economy, Trump shared the heartening news that he had just spoken to Wolfe's mother about her son's condition. "In D.C., we had a tragic incident, as you know, with the two incredible peopleSarah and Andrew. Sarah passed away," President Trump said.

"She's looking at us from Heaven, from above. And Andrew's the second one, who was also from the West Virginia National Guard. Incredible people."

Trump went on to share that Wolfe's mother, Monica, had informed him of a significant development in her son's recovery. "And today, I got a call that he got up from bed. Do you believe that? He got up," he added, as the crowd roared with cheers and applause. "Now he didn't speak. He's not ready for that yetbut he got up and boy, they're so happy," Trump continued. "It's amazingAndrew stood up today, and people can't even believe it, so... let's hope it continues."

The President also mentioned Monica's appreciation for the "level of love" and care her son had received from the hospital staff and military members who have visited him. The parents of the late Sarah Beckstrom echoed this sentiment.

This news of Wolfe's progress is indeed miraculous, considering the last update from West Virginia Republican Governor Patrick Morrisey. Eight days prior, Morrisey reported that Wolfe had responded to a nurse's question but was still fighting for his life. "Andrew remains in serious condition," Morrisey said during a recent press conference.

"We did get some positive news that we were told that Andrew was asked if he could hear the nurse who asked the question to give a thumbs up, and he did respond. We were told that he also wiggled his toes. So we take that as a positive sign."

Governor Morrisey emphasized the importance of continued prayers for Wolfe, a sentiment echoed by the injured guardsman's parents. "I think that the West Virginia people are strong and they know that everything is being done right now to ensure that justice is served," the governor continued. "But equally important, we have to do everything possible to send prayers and to console people who are going through just unspeakable times right now."

As Wolfe continues his battle for recovery, the strength and resilience of the West Virginia people shine through. The prayers and support for Wolfe and his family, as well as for the family of the late Sarah Beckstrom, are a testament to the community's unity in the face of adversity. The hope is that this unity and the prayers of many will continue to fuel Wolfe's miraculous recovery.
