Dem Rep. Goldman Goes Full Blame-Shift: Bidens Pipe Bomb Fumble? Nah, Its All Trumps Fault

During a recent segment on MS NOW's "The Briefing," Representative Dan Goldman (D-NY) expressed sharp criticism of the FBI, accusing the agency of prioritizing political agendas over the safety and security of American citizens.

"Theyre so focused on the politics of everything, theyre not focused on the safety and security of the American people. And that is what is missing. Thats what were losing through this dreadful FBI," Goldman remarked. His comments came amid discussions about the FBI's handling of the investigation into the 2021 pipe bomb incidents, where no suspects have been apprehended.

As reported by Breitbart, host Jen Psaki raised concerns about the Department of Justice's (DOJ) approach to the investigation, referencing claims by Pam Bondi and Kash Patel that evidence related to the pipe bomber had been neglected under the Biden administration. Goldman, who has oversight responsibilities for the DOJ, dismissed these allegations, stating, "I dont even think their allegations are anything was mishandled."

He acknowledged the successful identification of the pipe bomber as commendable but questioned the politicization of the issue. "Why does it have anything to do with Joe Biden? Why is everything chest thumping and this and that and that? Just do your job," he urged.

Goldman further criticized Kash Patel, suggesting that his failure to perform his duties contributes to low morale within the FBI. He argued that the agency's focus on political matters detracts from its primary mission of ensuring public safety. "The problem is, that, in pretty much every other case, Kash Patel is not doing his job, which is why morale in the FBI is unbelievably low, why people are miserable there, and why they are doing such a poor job," Goldman asserted.

The discourse surrounding the FBI's performance and the DOJ's handling of investigations highlights ongoing tensions between political figures and federal agencies. While some argue that the Biden administration has not adequately addressed certain security issues, others contend that the politicization of law enforcement undermines its effectiveness.

As debates continue, the focus remains on whether these agencies can fulfill their duties without succumbing to political pressures.
