Trump To Maduro: 'Your Time Is Up, Step Down NOW'

President Trump has delivered a decisive ultimatum to Venezuelan leader Nicols Maduro amid rising tensions: step down and leave the country, or face consequences.

This development was highlighted in a recent report, shedding light on the strained relations between the two nations.

As reported by Sean Hannity, the conversation between President Trump and Maduro took a contentious turn when the Venezuelan leader purportedly demanded to retain control over the country's military in exchange for facilitating free elections. Additionally, Maduro sought international amnesty for his alleged crimes.

President Trump, however, swiftly dismissed these demands, issuing a clear directive for Maduro to vacate his position immediately.

The dialogue quickly unraveled, leading to significant political repercussions within the United States. Senator Dave McCormick (R-PA) expressed concerns on Fox News Sunday about the impact of the ongoing conflict on Americans, particularly through the influx of narcotics from Venezuela.

"We have a war thats coming through fentanyl, through opioids, through cocaine," McCormick stated, highlighting the drug crisis that President Trump attributes to Maduro's regime. "It killed 100,000 Americans last year. Thats twice the number of people that died in eight years of Vietnam 4,000 Pennsylvanians."

In response to the failed negotiations, President Trump announced the closure of U.S. airspace around Venezuela. Additionally, the USS Gerald R. Ford, the largest warship in the American fleet, along with a Marine expeditionary unit, has been strategically positioned offshore, signaling potential military action. Over the weekend, President Trump cautioned that operations within Venezuela might commence "very soon."

When questioned by reporters, President Trump confirmed his recent conversation with Maduro, stating only, "I wouldnt say it went well or badly." The exchange reportedly occurred in mid-November, shortly after President Trump expressed a willingness to engage in dialogue with the Venezuelan dictator.
