In a recent interview, actor Josh Brolin offered a candid perspective on President Donald Trump, describing him as a "genius" in the realm of marketing.

This remark came as Brolin dismissed the idea that the President would extend his tenure beyond the constitutional limits. "Im not scared of Trump, because even though he says hes staying forever, its just not going to happen. And if it does, then Ill deal with that moment," Brolin stated in his conversation with The Independent.

He further elaborated on his past acquaintance with Trump, recalling a different persona from the one currently in the political spotlight.

As reported by Fox News, Brolin's familiarity with Trump dates back to his entrepreneurial days, following their meeting after Brolin's role in "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps." The actor expressed intrigue in Trump's ambition to construct a hotel amidst the challenges of a "cesspool city during the late seventies."

However, Brolin noted a shift, observing that Trump's current influence is characterized by "power unmitigated, its unregulated." He remarked, "There is no greater genius than him in marketing he takes the weakness of the general population and fills it."

Brolin's critique of Trump's 2020 presidential campaign was evident in a previous Instagram post, where he rejected the notion of Trump as a representation of American masculinity. "I refuse to believe that Donald Trump is our core version of American masculinity," Brolin wrote. He criticized the divisive tactics employed in politics, stating, "The America that was great was never based on creating hate and conspiracy in order to win."

In addition to his political commentary, Brolin discussed his role in the upcoming film "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery." The movie, which is the third installment in the "Knives Out" series, features a star-studded cast including Daniel Craig, Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, and Kerry Washington. Brolin clarified that his character, Monsignor Wicks, was not inspired by President Trump. "I could make something up and say it was rooted in a kind of Trumpian greed," he quipped, "Wicks garners a sense of power, then there are no boundaries."

Brolin's reflections offer a nuanced view of President Trump, acknowledging his marketing prowess while critiquing his political approach. As the actor navigates both his career and his views on contemporary politics, his insights contribute to the ongoing discourse surrounding the President's impact on American society.
