The Biden family has once again chosen the exclusive island of Nantucket, located off Cape Cod, as their Thanksgiving destination.
This tradition, dating back to 1975, sees the Bidens spending the holiday in this affluent locale. In recent years, they have been hosted at the luxurious estate of billionaire David Rubenstein.
According to Gateway Pundit, the Bidens' presence in Nantucket led to the complete shutdown of the island's Main Street on Wednesday, a day known for its bustling pre-Thanksgiving shopping activity. This disruption coincided with one of the busiest shopping days of the year, as locals and visitors alike prepared for the holiday.
On Friday, President Biden was observed moving through Nantucket ahead of the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. A video shared by TikTok user Britsta13 captured a moment when a childs mother pointed out, Thats President Biden! Can you say hi? to which the President responded by asking, Can I have a picture with you?
Meanwhile, Dr. Jill Biden was reportedly seen shopping for lingerie, as noted by The New York Post. The former first lady, dressed in a purple coat and scarf, was spotted leaving Ladybird Lingerie in the island's historic district.
Later that day, the Biden family, including President Biden, Dr. Jill Biden, and Hunter Biden, took part in the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. This annual event marks a festive conclusion to their Thanksgiving visit, underscoring the family's enduring connection to Nantucket.
