Dem Senators Anti-Trump Jab Just Became A Brutal Biden Burn!

Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) found herself at the center of a social media storm after inadvertently criticizing President Joe Biden while attempting to target President Donald Trump.

Her Thanksgiving message on X highlighted rising energy costs, using a graph that inadvertently traced the increase back to the early days of the Biden administration. The graph, sourced from The Century Foundation, illustrated a rise in average overdue balances from $597 in 2022 to $789 today, marking a 32% increase.

As reported by Mediaite, Klobuchar's post quickly drew the ire of Trump supporters, who were eager to point out the timeline discrepancy. They noted that the graph's trajectory began during Biden's presidency, not Trump's. CNN's MAGA commentator Scott Jennings was among those who found amusement in the situation.

The post was further scrutinized with a community note clarifying that the chart depicted average past-due balances rather than actual electricity costs, emphasizing that these balances have surged since 2022 under Biden's leadership.

The report Klobuchar referenced did acknowledge a genuine rise in residential electricity costs, which increased by 10.5% between January and August 2025. This spike, one of the most significant in a decade, was attributed to high interest rates, increased natural gas prices, and growing demand from data centers.

For many Americans, these factors contribute to a broader cost-of-living crisis, a pressing issue that conservative voters are increasingly associating with the Biden administration. While partisan debates continue, the reality of rising energy costs remains a significant concern for households nationwide, underscoring the need for effective policy solutions.
