In a rather unusual incident, two individuals were captured on surveillance footage urinating on the driveway of GOP Congressman Tim Burchett from Tennessee.
The video reveals one of the men standing beside a Jeep while committing the act, while the other, who was off-camera, allegedly targeted security equipment, as noted by Burchett. The incident unfolded on a Tuesday evening, shortly after 5 p.m. ET.
As reported by Gateway Pundit, the situation took a comedic turn when one of the men exclaimed, "Oh no! Theres a camera!" to which his companion responded, "Where?" In an effort to identify the culprits, Burchett reached out to the public, sharing a close-up image of the Jeep's license plate, which appears to read "435 BJ02."
He took to X, asking, "Does anyone know these 2 gentlemen who used my driveway for a toilet?"
This incident adds to a series of recent challenges faced by Congressman Burchett. In September, he was involved in a physical confrontation with a protestor on Capitol Hill. The altercation reportedly began when the protestor bumped into Burchett, prompting the Congressman to push back.
Additionally, Burchett has been recovering from a broken rib, an injury sustained when a horse kicked him in the chest. "Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) went to the hospital on Sunday with a broken rib after a horse kicked him in the chest, according to his office," the Washington Examiner reported in late July.
These events highlight the unpredictable nature of public life, where personal and professional challenges often intersect. As Burchett navigates these incidents, the call for public assistance in identifying the individuals involved in the driveway incident underscores the importance of community support and vigilance.
