CBP Agents In Action: 'Operation Charlotte's Web' Takes Down Threats On NC Streets (Video)

In the wake of successful operations to apprehend criminal illegal aliens in Chicago, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is now turning its attention to Charlotte, North Carolina.

This news has sparked a flurry of reactions from local Democrats, including city council members and the sheriff of Mecklenburg County, where Charlotte is situated. However, it was the misleading rhetoric from a congresswoman and the state's governor that caught the attention of Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino.

Bovino took to his X account to address the politicians' failure to distinguish between "immigrant" and "illegal alien." He wrote, "Immigrants rest assured, we have your back like we did in Chicago and Los Angeles. Rep. Adams, perhaps you & Gov. Stein should learn the difference between an illegal alien & an immigrant. Illegal aliens have NO PLACE in our communities and should self deport via CBP Home."

The operation, aptly named "Operation Charlotte's Web," was officially announced in a DHS press release on Saturday night, as reported by RedState. The release included images of the criminal illegal aliens that the Border Patrol is currently seeking in Charlotte.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin issued a statement, which was reported by local Queen City News' Andy Weber. Weber noted the presence of "plenty of videos" on social media showcasing the border patrol in action.

McLaughlin's statement read, "Americans should be able to live without fear of violent criminal illegal aliens hurting them, their families, or their neighbors. We are surging DHS law enforcement to Charlotte to ensure Americans are safe and public safety threats are removed. There have been too many victims of criminal illegal aliens. President Trump and Secretary Noem will step up to protect Americans when sanctuary politicians wont.

Several videos circulating on social media show Border Patrol vehicles entering Charlotte, anti-ICE mobs protesting, and DHS agents at work. One video features a woman in a nail salon calling the officers "demons" and invoking the name of Jesus. Another video shows Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino in Charlotte, responding to a woman questioning why agents were interviewing people outside a grocery store. His response: "Could be. Criminals grocery shop. They gotta eat, too."

In a recent interview, President Trump discussed the significant impact of a new president on border security and the safety of Americans nationwide. He said, "I had a very safe border the first four years, but now I have a really safe border but I didn't have to go Congress to do it. You're the President."

The DHS's commitment to protecting American citizens from criminal illegal aliens is evident in their ongoing operations. The fear-mongering tactics employed by some Democrats have only served to create unnecessary panic and confusion.

It is crucial to differentiate between immigrants and illegal aliens, a distinction that some politicians seem to overlook. The DHS's operations are targeted at criminal illegal aliens, not immigrants, a fact that should be clearly communicated to avoid further misinformation.

The presence of Border Patrol in Charlotte is a testament to the government's commitment to ensuring the safety of its citizens. Despite the backlash and protests, the DHS continues its mission to remove public safety threats and protect Americans. The operation in Charlotte is just another step in this ongoing effort.

The DHS's dedication to its mission, coupled with the support of President Trump and Secretary Noem, sends a clear message: the safety of Americans is a top priority, and no sanctuary politician can hinder that mission.
