Newsom's California Illegally Issued 17K Driver's Licenses To Risky Foreign Truckers

A recent audit led by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has unveiled a significant breach of protocol in California, where Governor Gavin Newsom's administration is accused of unlawfully distributing thousands of Commercial Drivers Licenses (CDLs) to foreign truck drivers deemed dangerous.

Duffy has confirmed that these licenses are now being rescinded.

According to Breitbart, the Department of Transportation (DOT) disclosed that the California Department of Motor Vehicles acknowledged the unauthorized issuance of 17,000 CDLs to foreign drivers. These individuals, as described by DOT officials, lack the necessary qualifications to operate semi-trucks safely. "After weeks of claiming they did nothing wrong, Gavin Newsom and California have been caught red-handed," Duffy stated.

He emphasized his commitment to ensuring that California removes all illegal immigrants from operating semitrucks and school buses.

The foreign truck drivers affected by this revelation have been informed that their licenses are non-compliant with federal standards and will be invalidated within 60 days. In a recent interview with Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief, Duffy criticized Newsom for neglecting to adhere to the federal government's longstanding English Language Proficiency standards for CDL holders. This oversight has prompted the DOT to withhold over $40 million in federal funding from California.

The situation raises questions about the state's compliance with federal regulations and the potential risks posed by unqualified drivers on the road. The financial repercussions and the revocation of licenses underscore the importance of adhering to established standards to ensure public safety and maintain the integrity of the licensing process.
