Democrat Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is coming under fire for the latest scandal.
Emails and photos obtained by The Washington Free Beacon show that she took a glorious island vacation with a campaign donor, Kelly Neumann, who has a law firm in Michigan.
According to Free Beacon, Nessel in late March flew to Turks and Caicos to vacation alongside Michigan lawyer Kelly Neumann, who in 2021 contributed more than $7,000 to Nessels re-election campaign. Internal emails obtained by the Free Beacon via a public record request confirm Nessels departure to the Caribbean island. Nessels calendar merely said she was out of the office.
Nessel campaigned on being an average person from Michigan that complains about the Lions. However, her luxurious vacation says otherwise. The accommodation at the Ritz the pair enjoyed cost approximately $8,700. The same news source also looked at now-deleted Instagram photos. Per The Washington Free Beacon, Deleted Instagram photos of the trip obtained by the Free Beacon show Nessels wife, fellow attorney Alanna Maguire, enjoying a glass of champagne and rubbing Nessels shoulders in the penthouses private pool, which overlooks the world-renowned Grace Bay Beach.
The luxury didnt stop there. She also reserved an exclusive yacht for sailing. One and a half hours on the vessel costs about $10,000.
While shes off sailing on expensive yachts, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas continues to come under fire for taking luxurious vacations. Democrats continue to use those trips as reasoning for demanding that the judge resigns from his position.
In a statement, Nessel insists that when she does take personal vacations, she pays for those herself. However, no one can figure out how she and her wife can afford such a luxurious vacation. In 2018, she and her wife made a combined total of just $75,943, which is hardly associated with luxurious penthouses in the Caribbean.
