Congressman Thomas Massie Makes Big Announcement!

Kentucky Republican Representative Thomas Massie has embarked on a new chapter of his life, tying the knot once again following the passing of his first wife.

The congressman's first wife, Rhonda, tragically passed away in June 2024, marking the end of their blessed 31-year marriage, as reported by the Louisville Courier-Journal. The couple had four children together, all of whom are now adults.

Massie took to social media to announce his recent nuptials with Carolyn Grace Moffa, a former staffer for Senator Rand Paul. "Carolyn and I would like to announce our recent marriage! We were legally married in Kentucky on October 19th by the pastor of the church we have been attending for several months," Massie shared.

The couple later celebrated their union with a Christian wedding ceremony in Pennsylvania, Moffa's home state.

The congressman and Moffa first crossed paths professionally over a decade ago when she was working for Senator Rand Paul. "As Senator Pauls Ag policy staffer until 2016, Carolyn was a very early proponent and practitioner of Making America Healthy Again. She even visited me and my late wife Rhonda on our grass-fed cattle farm several years ago," Massie revealed.

Moffa, who has never been married before, will now join Massie on his Kentucky farm, where they plan to raise ducks and chickens alongside the existing beef cattle.

The wedding, which was attended by Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky and Republican Representatives Jim Jordan and Warren Davidson of Ohio, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, and Victoria Spartz of Indiana, was a celebration of their shared love and commitment. "My oldest grandson was the ring bearer," Massie said, noting that three of his grandchildren were present at the ceremony.

According to Western Journal, Massie proposed to Moffa on the steps of the Library of Congress, the location of their first date. "Please pray for us as Carolyn steps into the arena with me. With her support, I look forward to continuing my fight for freedom for the great people of Kentucky!" he posted.

The congressman's personal life isn't the only area experiencing changes. His political career is also facing challenges, with former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein announcing his intention to contest Massie's seat. Gallrein, who is supported by President Donald Trump, has stated, "This district is Trump Country. The president doesnt need obstacles in Congress he needs backup."

Despite the looming challenge, Massie has received assurance of support from Senator Rand Paul. "Thomas Massie is going to win. Im going to help him. Im going to be with him every step of the way," Paul declared. He further described Massie as an "independent voice" within the Republican Party, asserting that both he and Massie have supported Trump more over time than many others who have now aligned themselves with Trump.

As Massie embarks on this new chapter in his personal and political life, he remains committed to his conservative values and the people of Kentucky. With the backing of his new wife and his political allies, he is poised to continue his fight for freedom and limited government, upholding the principles that have defined his career.
